History of Dragon Boat Festival:
Chinese always memorize the most sadness men generation by generation because of their deep gravamen such as Qu Yuan, Du Fu, Zhuge Liang, Yue Fei..etc. Although they born in different ages, they had same character which was loyal to their King, love their people and hope every person lived in fairness, justice and peaceful world. However, they could not make it before their dead.
Regarding Qu Yuan, 340–278 BC, his country was getting weak but his king did not listen to his suggestions. He failed to his country and his people then killed himself by drowning in the Miluo River. People knew he was a good minister and afraid of his body bitten by fishes. Every year, there is dragon boat festival striking drum and yelling on the dragon boat in order to scare all fishes under water. People throw dumpling making by glutinous rice into the river hoping fishes eat it instead of Qu Yuan's body.
